A new world record is set right here in Monticello, Kentucky, as thousands of boaters showed up on Lake Cumberland on August 14, 2010 for the world’s largest “raft up.”
A judge from the Guinness Book of World Records confirmed that 1651 boats were on the lake tied together to achieve the title. The old record was 1453 boats set in North Carolina in 2004. See our Photos for more pictures!
